One of France’s finest exports, Traumer began conquering dancefloors more than a decade ago with a steady stream of critically acclaimed releases. Continuously pushing boundaries in the studio, Romain Poncet has since developed a vast and versatile sonic universe through an array of aliases and side projects—each one allowing him to express a different shade of his unique vision and sensitivity.
Born in Avignon (FR) in 1991, Romain’s approach to music has always been deeply intuitive and visual. Without formal training, he learned to produce by ear and imagination—an instinctive method rooted in childhood days spent building imaginary soundscapes with Legos and movie soundtracks. That creative logic still shapes his work today: whether in the studio or behind the decks, every element is assembled like a structure with its own rhythm and function.
Launched in 2016 by French producer and DJ Traumer, get—traum is more than just a label—it’s a personal playground for sonic exploration. Originally created as a platform to release his own productions with total creative freedom, get—traum quickly became a distinctive voice in the minimal and micro-house landscape.
Over the years, the label has developed a signature aesthetic: deep, groovy, and hypnotic, with an emphasis on sound design and storytelling. Rooted in the club, yet always forward-thinking, get—traum now extends beyond Traumer’s solo work.
Since 2023, the label has exported its imprint in the best clubs of the planet : fabric, Rex club, shelter, Input, Ampere, progress center, chinois, Jolene… etc.
