This episode, produced by Time to Watches and The Real Time Show, is brought to you by STISS (www.stiss.ch).

Recorded at Time to Watches 2025 in Geneva, Alon Ben Joseph & Rob Nudds welcome Cédric Pierre Berruex from White Star Watch for a conversation about the brand’s history, its revival and the watches presented at the event.

During the discussion, Cédric explains that White Star Watch was originally founded in 1895 by Henry Wise and remained a family-run company for four generations until the end of the 1970s, when production stopped due to the quartz crisis. He explains that he took over the brand two years ago after spending around thirty years in the watch industry, including experience with Swatch Group and Richemont.

The conversation covers White Star Watch’s first public exhibition at Time to Watches, the feedback received from visitors, and the brand’s objectives in terms of visibility, distribution, partnerships and future development.

Cédric presents the brand’s approach of revisiting historical models from the 20th century, starting with designs inspired by the early 1950s. He describes several models shown at the event, including a graphic model with seven complications, a neo-gothic moonphase model, and a unigraphic model featuring luminous star details.

The episode also includes discussion of movement development, finishing choices, price positioning, and the importance of seeing the watches in person.
