
🎧 The Shell Stretch, in STOTT PILATES®, is a transitional exercise performed seated on the knees, with the arms resting alongside the body. It gently stretches the entire posterior muscle chain while mobilizing the spine through a smooth, rolling motion. This moment of recentring helps release tension in the back and shoulders, while reconnecting to deep, conscious breathing.
